Yes, you must have a current physical to participate in practice or competition. Physicals are good for one calendar year. A student-athlete must get a new physical every year.
Yes but playing time is not mandatory
Students must maintain good academic standing throughout the course of the year. Any students receiving more than two F’s during any semester will be ineligible for the following semester.
No, a parent cannot waive the pre-participation physical requirement

No, a student must have a physical in order to be eligible to try-out for any sport.
Yes. Absences may impact student-athlete’s playing time. Student-athletes are expected to contact their coach directly if they will miss any practices/games. Excessive absences may cause the student-athlete to be removed from the team.
Most teams practice and/or play 5-6 days a week, including Saturdays. Practices take place after school. (Saturday practices are optional) Most practices last between 1.5 – 2 hours. Saturday practices may last up to 2.5 hours.
We have a large number of students who try out for our athletic teams, so unfortunately not everyone can be selected to make the team.
