General Information
Welcome to the Muscogee County School District Athletics Department. Our goal is to provide an environment so that each student has opportunities for success and the chance to have valuable experiences through your association with our athletic program and all our extracurricular activities. It is my belief that interscholastic activities provide opportunities for learning experiences which are difficult to duplicate in other school activities.
The opportunity to represent the Muscogee County School District on the playing field requires determination, dedication and discipline. It demands the successful management of time and effort between academic responsibilities and athletic pursuits. Involvement in athletics helps students develop a better sense of responsibility, cooperation, self-discipline, self-confidence, and sportsmanship that will help serve them long after graduation. The lessons and values learned by participating on athletic teams last a lifetime.
Our school district and the entire community take great pride in the accomplishments of our student-athletes, and we will continue our tradition of providing enriching educational and extracurricular activities for all of our students. Muscogee County coaches and athletes are expected to abide by the highest standards of fair play and sportsmanship. Our goal is to make the most positive contribution possible to the physical, emotional, and social well-being of students.
