Catapult Academy
General Information
Catapult Academy is owned and operated by Catapult Learning Academy, Inc., serves students ages 16-20 who have dropped out of the district's high schools and are in need of an alternative solution to a regular high diploma. The program is located at the Marshall Success Center, 1830 Shepherd Drive, Columbus, Georgia, 31906, Phone number (706) 358-4895, and the Program Supervisor is Mr. Jimmy L. King. The program provides a combination of small-group, teacher-led instruction, virtual learning, flexible scheduling, college admission guidance and career coaching. Educators and district leaders at the Catapult Academy of Muscogee County School District (MCSD) work closely to market and enroll students. In addition, Muscogee County School District Provides space at the Marshall Success Center in Columbus for the program.
Catapult Academy of Muscogee County School District honored 63 graduates in its class of 2023. Over the past 9 years, the district-approved program has graduated 600 students since its implementation in the fall of 2014. This year the program is expected to award diplomas to another 50 -60 students. As the program continues to expand, the company anticipates that the number of graduates, and graduation rates will also continue to rise.
