General Information

The Federal Programs department implements the following:

English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Federal Grants

  • Title I-A: Provides academic support and resources to schools serving economically disadvantaged students; supports parent and family engagement
  • Title II-A: Provides teacher and school leader training
  • Title III-A: Provides language support to immigrant students and students with limited English proficiency
  • Title IV-A: Provides support for students in the following categories: being safe, healthy and well-rounded as well as the use of technology in the classroom
  • School Improvement - Provides academic support and resources to schools identified by the state as needing improvement
  • ESSER - Provides support to overcome the challenges presented from COVID
