E-SPLOST

E-SPLOST

An E-SPLOST is a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) for education.

E-SPLOST is a one-cent sales tax, approved by voters, that last for a maximum of five years and is used to finance improvements for the school district without raising property taxes. By law, E-SPLOST funds cannot be used for day-to-day operational expenses; they can only be allocated for certain capital projects, such as renovating schools, upgrading technology, purchasing furnishings, and improving transportation.

The continuation of E-SPLOST allows for an overall better learning environment for our students.
