The MCSD Student Media Festival fosters learning across the curriculum and celebrates outstanding student produced media projects by providing a venue to showcase student work and stimulate student interest in a variety of media productions. K-12 festival activities progress through three successive levels: building, district, and state. The MCSD Media Festival competition takes place in March.
Student media projects such as website design, podcast, live action video, animation, and photography provide students with an opportunity to use technology. These projects also allow students to communicate, solve problems, access, manage, integrate, evaluate, and create information in all subject areas.
Complete rules, regulations, forms, criteria, and samples of student work are found on the Georgia Student Media Festival website.
